I’ve found that I can roughly gauge the intensity of the activity that will occur in Ubaúna based upon the way the Evil One comes after us before we arrive or before a particular day dawns while there. If something big is about to happen, his activity increases dramatically. I suppose it is intended to intimidate and discourage.
