We made it!
We hit Manaus a little before midnight. I do believe “hit” is the correct word. Flight uneventful, other than the turbulance that threatened to drive the plane into the ocean. Made it to RDU with no fanfare. Minor snag at checkin — we have to pick up our bags in Miami instead of checking them all the way to Fortaleza. Bummer. Things must be going ok, Jeff is drinking airport coffee!
