I have a Brasilian cell phone that I use while here. I’m actually able to use my phone from the US and just swap out chips — this to me is amazing! This wasn’t even a conceivable dream to me way back in the early 80’s when I lived here.

Today, the phone went crazy and started sending and receiving a text message that said I just sent myself a text message. I’ve already received 14 such messages. I don’t know myself that well to send that many messages!

The crazy things that are happening are going off like the Fourth of July fireworks.
