Um amigo meu, um brasileiro que está aqui nos EUA ilegalmente, vai embora hoje. Ele entrou no país por México 2 anos passados. Ele deixou sua esposa e suas 2 criancinhas em casa, em Minas Gerais. Ele planejou ganhar muito dinheiro e voltar pra casa em 3 anos. Que sacrifício! Que amor! Ele estava pronto para se sacrificar para o melhoramento da sua família . . .

Porém, algo aconteceu que ele não estava antecipando.

Ele é diabético e teve uma crise. Quase morreu. A doença comeu todo seu dinheiro e ele não mais podia trabalhar.

Ele está voltando para Minas hoje. A passagem dele comprado por outros. Bolsas lisas.

Mas ele está sorrindo.

“Vou ver minha esposa e crianças!” E, “Deus não me trouxe aqui à toa – Ele tem um plano!”

A friend of mine, a Brasilian here in the US illegally, is leaving today. He came into the country by way of Mexico 2 years ago. He left his wife and 2 children at home, in Minas Gerais. He planned on earning a lot of money and returning home in 3 years. What sacrifice! What love! He was ready to sacrifice himself for the improvement of his family . . .

However, something happened that he had not anticipated.

He is diabetic and had a crisis. He almost died. The illness consumed all his money and he couldn’t go back to work.

He’s returning to Minas (Brasil) today. His ticket purchased by others. Pockets empty.

But he is smiling.

“I’m going to see my wife and children!” And, “God didn’t bring me here as a joke – He has a plan!”
