Seed of Hope.
The expression has really taken up permanent residence in my mind and heart. In fact, it almost stalks me day and night.
And I like it!
Seed of Hope is Gospel for Brazil’s sponsorship program for children living in extreme poverty in the northeastern part of Brazil. This region is ranked in the top five poorest places on the face of the earth and has been called the 10/40 window of the southern hemisphere. Darkness, both physical and spiritual, is a common way of life there. What rips your heart out are the children.
Seed of Hope seeks to address both parts of the problem.
