I gotta tell you, I’m often humbled by what the Spirit does…

This morning I sent out an urgent request for prayer for a friend, fellow-worker and a fellow I mentored over 25 years ago when he was a teenager while living in Brasil. He is in danger of losing limbs (literally) from diabetes running amock and may die during the surgery to ampute his foot due to a  heart condition.

There happens to be a friend on my mailing list who, when I last spoke with him, wasn’t a Jesus-follower and I don’t know how or when I put his name on my list.

He said he fully expected Henrique (the fellow in question) to survive and thrive because that’s what God does for his people.

Amazing what faith does to a person…
