148 killed, dozens wounded in Iraq blasts
Apr 18, 2007, 19:03 GMT Baghdad – At least 148 Iraqis were killed and scores wounded Wednesday in a series of blasts across the conflict-torn Iraq, sources said. In the biggest incident, at least 118 persons were killed and over 157 wounded when a car bomb detonated in central Baghdad’s Sadriya district, independent Voices of Iraq news agency reported citing a security source.
