Waiting on the plane to be pulled into the gate; supposed to be boarding in 15 minutes, but, doesn’t appear that that will be happening on the published schedule. 🙂

All has gone smoothly. Check-in was a breeze, security check uneventful; even had time for a Starbucks venti Mocha Frapp (had to walk a mile, literally, to get it, but that allowed me to expend the calories before actually drinking it!).

Once the plane is at the gate we’ll be headed for the jungle city of Manaus, arriving about 1:00 a.m.

Everyone is excited! Anticipation is half the fun — its hilarious watching the nervous energy.
