I can’t get that stupid song out of my head — leaving on a jet plane…

I leaving on a van, not a jet plane, and am heading for the big city of Anderson, S.C. Why? The Newspring Church is putting on a one-day conference called Unleashed and it promises to be a head spinner. Newspring is making a really big splash churchwise and they’re willing to share everything they know and don’t know. So, I guess you could say that we’re off to see the wizard (Perry Noble) in Oz (South Carolina qualifies on every count 🙂 ).

Better yet, I’m going to be holed up on the van with some of the best folk on the face of the earth from Lifepoint. Nothing like a road trip for camaraderie!

Only bad point is that I have to leave my queen behind — there’s too much going on in the shop for both of us to be gone at the same time this week.

The other biggie on my radar this week is Sunday. We’re going to be looking at the REAL F_Word and everything says it’s going to be a barn burner! New dressup for the lobby, a 20,000-piece mailer has hit, Lifepointers have brought forward 696 names of people they are praying for and inviting, Pastor Jeff’s sermon is going to kick between the legs — it’s going to redefine “church!”

I’ve peeked behind the proverbial curtain on this one and I have to admit that this series has me dancing like a little girl who needs to pee! This is both scary and exciting at the same time. You might want to check this one out on Sunday!
