Sometimes we make things much more difficult than they are.
What’s typically lacking in our lives is a boldness that can only come with conviction that is birthed through experience. What a shame that we denigrate Christianity to an intellectual pursuit of an ethereal holiness and consequently miss the real holiness that is hidden right in front of us.
Equally problematic is a lack of attention from the Evil One because we are doing nothing that upsets his kingdom. Ephesians 6:10-12 is on my plate right now and is making for an interesting meal. The one thing this dish is teaching me is that there is tremendous growth in adversity.
