Had a bit of Ubaúna in Wilmington today.
Satan rules bigtime in the little village of Ubaúna, Brasil. He does things there that cause the hair on the back of your neck to stand up and salute. Silly me, I tend to think he does it there because he can; we are way to sophisticated for him here. He’s adopted more “modern” methods to do his sinister thing. We no more believe in The Exorcist than we do the Easter Bunny — we just like the thrill of being frightened.
That was blown out of the water today. Had lunch and a long discussion with a young lady that caused my “spiritual antenna” to twitch just like they do in Ubaúna; I knew I was in the shadow of his evil presence.
It infuriated me.
The SOB is alive and well right here (yep, I called him an SOB because he is, in every sense of the word). He uses the same methods he uses in Ubaúna; the only difference is the slant we try to put on it. So, he’s really even better at it here than in Ubaúna. There everyone knows it is him; here, we just call the person sick or crazy or disturbed. And Satan gets to continue destroying lives, families and relationships for generations because we allow him to do so.
I wonder if we’ll ever “wake up and smell the coffee?”
