One of the odd things about getting old is that you don’t really feel old nor see yourself as old.
Those of you who are younger (i.e., less than 40), don’t understand that to which I refer. If you are in your mid-30’s you are probably beginning to experience some of the first inklings of it, but it isn’t well-formed as of yet. If you are over 50, you know exactly that to which I refer.
I had coffee this morning with a fellow “old person,” who I won’t embarrass by lumping him together with this old person.
The conversation was really interesting, stimulating, refreshing and enjoyable. It’s amazing how gray hair is a great equalizer. 🙂
