Have you ever tried to tell someone about something but have been unable to communicate?

I had an interesting discussion with my wife today about sponge cake…

“Is it made from sponges?”

“Nope”

“Fruit cake made with fruit, pumpkin cake made from pumpkins, chocolate cake made with chocolate… why would you use sponges? Are they the kind found in the ocean?

“Not sponges.”

“Then what?”

Long silence…

“Ok, you win. Its made from sponges.”

“Why?”

“Why do you want to know?”

“I bought a sponge cake mix.”

“Why?”
