I just read about an Australian girl who  spontaneously switched blood types and adopted her donor’s immune system following a liver transplant. It is the first known case of its type, according to the doctors treating her.

Isn’t that what we’re called to do when we are transplanted with the Jesus Spirit? When I read this early this morning, that is exactly what I understood taking place.

I suppose the issue turns on this: am I allowing myself to undergo a “spontaneous” blood type switch? Isn’t that what “transformation” is all about (Romans 12:2)?
