[Came across this by accident. Was actually working, trying to be productive. Really!]

Oz is an imaginary magical monarchy that scared the bejibbers out of me as a child (well, the monarchy didn’t, but the flying monkeys and the wicked witch sure did).

The Land of Oz is rectangular in shape, divided along the diagonals into four counties:

• Munchkin Country (east)
• Winkie Country (west)
• Gillikin Country (north)
• Quadling Country (south)

In the center is Emerald City, the capital and seat of Princess Ozma. Oz is completely surrounded by deserts, insulating the country from invasion and discovery.

But we all know that that didn’t work to well because Dorothy and Toto found their way there, didn’t they. And, don’t foret the Wizard himself, or the Nome King. After all that penetration through the apparent isolation of Oz, Glinda (good witch) created a barrier of invisibility around Oz to prevent further incursions.

On days like today (Mondays), I’d like to try and find a way to get there!
