This next hero is actually a dynamic duo!

Patrick and Christi Loyd are former Wilmingtonites — they migrated to Savannah, GA and are pretending to to happy there when their hearts are really in Wilmington 🙂

Both made a trip to Ubaúna back in 2004 and recently made their second foray into the desert northeast of Brasil with us in July of this year. Twice smitten would probably be a good way to describe what has happened to them!

This couple has gone above and beyond the call of duty in helping to hold my arms up. They have hitched their wagon to God’s star and are proving it by selfless sacrifice for the work in Ubaúna. It is people who are willing to be used by God, like Patrick and Christi, that will be responsible fo the imposssible happening there.
