As I watched Schering-Plough’s stock price drop 14.6% yesterday and currently being down another 5% today, a tear or two has rolled from my pharma-unfriendly eyes.

You see, the Vytorin commercials were some of the cutest spots running. They showed you how your high cholesterol could come from bad eating or from bad genes (“Aunt Marge”) and how this wonderful elixir of chemicals could fix it all. Cute. Really cute.

<Sigh> Why can’t the Cialis commercials be that cute? They’re way too serious and they’ve got great material to work with…
